My family and I were hiking Aiea Heights a few weeks ago and it was fun with lot's of rain, wet mud that stain, and that moist rainforest smell.

Anyways I was wondering where the crashed plane was, I think it was a Japenese Zero.Anybody know?

  2. I did the hike once but can't remember exactly where the plane was.  About half way i think.  The area where it sits is kind of lower than the trail (about 4 feet down) but you can see if from the main trail, and you can walk down to get a closer look.  The hike took about 2 hours.  The plane is only a small piece, not the whole plane.  That's all I saw anyway.  The piece is  only about the size of a small sofa.  I have a picture if you want.
