  1. It could be how you are adding it.  To show up in the AIM application, it needs to be added as an expression.

    In the AIM application (I'm using 6.5.9.1)

    Edit -> Settings -> Expressions

    At the top right, click browse.  Select the photo you want.

    I found that Edit- > Expressions (takes you to a webpage), doesn't seem to be the one that works.
