They would have chopped down his apple tree to make sure that an apple didn't fall on his head!

THEN, Gravity wouldn't have been discovered. THEN, We would all have been floating around, upside down!

WOW! And Golly Gosh!

  1. lol! Cynicism at its very best!

  2. If health and safety laws- and the mindless morons who make them- had been as prevalent in the past as they are now, things like the Pyramids, the Taj Mahal, the Easter Island statues, and countless other great spectacles of architecture, would probably never have been built.

  3. Its a bit like asking what was the highest mountain in the world before Everest was discovered.

Answer Mount Everest. as its always been there.

  4. I'm sorry sir, i am afraid you can not go dropping apples on people. Gravity will just have to bugger off.

  5. You certainly got that right... these people    are what we call wimps... big time. Oh for the good old days... when men were men... and had brains, and no interference from these so called know it alls.

  6. You forgot to mention the lawyers. Health & safty is there to stop the employer losing a large amount of cash in a law suit. Its not for the employees benifit. I had a memo last week about falling up the stairs. Basically my company has a water tight health & safty regs when it comes to stairs. There is a book informing me how I should asend & desend stairs while carrying tools. If I was to have an accident I quite literally would not have a leg to stand on. You will actually find that it is insurance companies that drive health & safty forward as they are the ones that will or will not insure you.

  7. Brilliant, I wonder what else wouldn't have been discovered if H & SE had been around in the old days.

  8. they would have had alot to answer for abit like now
