Aint it weird when dancers are dancing and they keep their faces on the camera?

aint it weird when you see someone dancing on tv and while doing it they keep staring at the camera. The same with magicians

not exactly true ...... they look everywhere ..... they cant just keep their faces in a single direction ....lol ..... but sometimes like in the case of tv shows they r supposed to look more at the camera .....thats all ...

It's called projection...and spotting.  One must project what they are feeling to the audience, and dancers have to spot, so they don't get dizzy while spinning....they do it all through the dance.

For the magician...if the audience is engaged in looking at your face (because it's natural to look at someone's face, when they are looking at you), then they don't notice what your hands are doing.

All part of the performance.

It is part of performance- you have to make the audience believe you are involved with them, and they will be involved with you.  Ignore them, and they don't think as much of your dancing.
