Air Force, Navy Question

Question

I have been wanting to enlist in the Air Force for a long time now, However the Navy are the ones busting their asses to get me signed.

I am trying my hardest to stay with/around my fiance as much as humanly possible. WHich one would be best?

P.S I go to MEPS Thursday for the Navy. If I decide not to sign a contract, would this put me on their bad side?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

GO AIR FORCE. If you want Air Force, don't enlist in the Navy! If you go Navy, it is hard to un-do that. Go with what you want even if it takes a lot of time. It isn't worth it to rush it.

Good Luck trying to get stationed near your fiance. You go where you're told to go, you  have a wish list but most of the time they don't put you where you want to go.

It really depends on what you want, and saying that you want to be near your fiance, I would say Air Force since the Navy has the choice of putting you on a ship if they decide to.

I would recommend the Navy,  but if you are wanting to stay as close to your fiance as much as possible the Air Force may be best for you.  The travel is great with the Navy you will get to see the world.

There is no best.

You have to decide, which service best meets your needs.

IE:

Job training

Job fields available

Travel

Base locations

Why go to MEPS, unless you are ready to enlist ?

Unless thats where you are going to take the asvab test.

i know its eaiser with a family to join the AF...and they have people change there mind everyday there use to it...and if you are on there bad side just remember its your life not theres...do what you feel in your heart is right...ps...either way get married before you go to basic...(ITS ALOT EAISER!!!)

Once you are enlisted, they will send you wherever they need you. It is not your choice where you go, it could be anywhere in the world (after boot camp and specialty training, of course). Why don't you join the reserves? You will be home much more than if you enlisted, and if you still want to enlist, you can. Good luck and thank you for your dedication to our country. I have 2 kids in the service, a female Master at Arms in the Navy and a male in the Marine Reserves (he is in Peru for a few weeks right now).
