Air Force BMT???????

Question

My wife left for texas for air force basic training last tuesday and I was at work so she called her mom yesterday to give her the mailing address so we can write letters, but her mom said her phone was cutting out and it was a short phone call. so now I'm stuck without the address and I really want to write her a letter, so my question is do I have to wait for her to send me something or call me to get the mailing address or is there another way to get it? thanks

The name of the air force BMT base is Lackland AFB. it is based out of San Antonio you can google general mailing imformation. But you will have to wait for a letter or another call before you can write her. There are over 300 training personnel stationed there for the 6-8 weeks. Each one is given unique mail codes so that the mail can be properly routed and sorted based on the team/squadron they are in. It may take a day to a week b4 you hear anything else. Just wait Goodluck and you have to rreally listen and listen closely because those phones sound like ****.

You may be able to get that info from her recruiter. Since you are the husband they should be able to get you that info. Write those letters though. I wish I got more letters when I was in BMT.

I was in air force BMT.  Dial 411 and ask for lackland air force base.  Thats where most basic training is held.  When you get on the line with lackland, explain your situation to whoever you talk to.  Im sure they can look up her information.  However, seeing that she is in basic training it might be hard to get solid information as many of the drill instructors are shaky people in general.  Even when they stop being T.I's some of them still act like douchbags.

You could try contacting her recruiters, and notify yourself as her spouse, and that the contact information was choppy, and ask if you can verify the information you have to insure that the mail gets sent to the right place.
