Air Force Basic Training?

I will be going into the Air Force as an E-2 and I was just wondering about how much can I expect to make a month after taxes. Also as an E-3. I am single without any dependents. Please anyone with previous experience respond. Thank you

Ok, first, you will not get your E-2, until after basic training.

During basic, you will be paid as an E-1.

So you will be paid 1,245.90 while in basic per month

Then after basic, you get promoted to E-2 and make 1,509.90 per month

An E-3 makes 1,587.90 with under two years service.

And 1,687.80 with over two years service.

And 1,789.80 with three years service.

Then an E-4 makes 1,949.10 with three years service.

Multiply each by 0.85 to get an idea what you will make after tax's.

So after taxs

E-1 - 1,058

E-2 - 1,282

E-3 - 1,348

Are you going full time or Guard? As an E-2 during Basic Training you can expect 1458.90 per Month Then as an E-3 it will be raised to 1534.20. You get paid semi-monthly and it will be drafted into your bank account.
