  1. Well in response to a previous poster Pararescue may not go around blowing up stuff but they are qualified with alot of weapons so they do get to shoot plenty. Some people say that the Pararescue selection process is the toughest, so you may want to go that route if you are looking for the baddest of the bad. Pararescue and SEALs do train together on a regular basis.

  2. It depends on what you want to do, everyone knows what the SEALs do but as for the PJ's, even in peace you get to do a lot of stuff, they are the guys in NY, Alaska and the Northwest who are always rescuing people in the mountains and oceans. They have a great selection process, 10 weeks and you will get a ton of medical and emergency rescue training-High Angle Rescue, Extraction, etc..and you will get Free Fall and Dive Qual'd. Your primary job is Combat Search and Rescue and acting as a really well trained and tactical medic. IF you want to be just a trigger puller, go SEALs, if you want to get some of that training and be a highly qual'd medic and rescue technician as well, go PJ.

  3. Personally myself I would pick the SEAL's.  Only because they are the most feared unconventional warfare group in the world.  Wherever there is trouble you'll find the SEALS.

  4. Navy SEALS. I like explosives. Pararescuemen don't use explosives.
