Air Force extension?

At what point could I extend my current contract to? I am still considering if I would like to reenlist or separate but its coming down to crunch time...

  1. Usually starts 3-4 months out, but you can re-enlist up until the day of the end of your current contract.  Although if you do that it's going to be a paperwork nightmare.


  2. Go to you MPF and speak the the Career Adviser or the Re-enlistment Adviser

  3. have to go to your MPF and ask to be sure but I think around your 40th month you can request an extension.
