Who's the better air king? Ikki or that previous air king in the wheelchair?

I think in the end Ikki will prevail as the stronger one. as usual...

but if based on the manga, the wheelchair guy is great and has tremendous powers that had beaten the fire king...

the anime had only served the purpose of introducing the manga because all main events are not there yet

Ikki, obviously.  I don't read the manga so I don't know where hes at right now, but in the anime during the long jump, he outscored Sora.  You may not think 1 meter more is alot, but Ikki was probably also wearing that suit that Rika gave him.
