Air Line ticket pricing Q?

1: Can someone purchase airline tickets at the airport on the same day as the flight if there is a seat available? if yes....

2: can that person get a better price than say calling seven days in advance?

details: U.S. to Canada

Yes you can purchase ticket at airport. However it is more expensive, as the lower airfares have advance purchase requirements. (Ex: 21days, 14days, 7days in advance).

2. No. (With occasional exceptions, usually requiring that you accept whatever destination they happen to have lots of unsold seats to.)

1. yes. 2. yes, possible but rather unlikely. I really don't believe you will get a better price at the airport. But I would never say never!
