I had very bad experience in July trying to collect. Why isnt 17000 airmiles enough for a 3000 mile roundtrip?

  1. No problem  iI transfer my Bay points  to air miles every month

  2. I have never had any problems redeeming.  I've gotten electronics for my kids at Christmas, baby items way back when, certificates to the zoo, science centre, etc.   It's always been painless and easy.

  3. My wife redeemed her air miles several times online and has never had any trouble, for gifts, and gas and for air travel, sorry to hear you had such a lousy experience.

  4. Watch out for travel specials when you need less points for a given destination.

  5. I have also had problems trying to redeem airmiles. Generally with Gas Cards or other coupons, they tell you they will take 4-6 weeks to mail out and have either taken 8-10, or just never arrived at all!

  6. yes, my mother!

we've benn taking trips to europe for free with all those airmiles lol.

and also, you have to remember that if you want to go on a trip using airmiles, you have to reserve ahead of time because usually in a flight only 4-6 seats are reserved for airmiles passengers and not in every flight.

    so good luck.

  7. All destinations are colour-coded on the maps easily viewable on the website.  The number of airmiles depends on the destination, AND the season, as well as the application of any specials.  17,000 airmiles is enough to go from Manitoba to Australia, in high season.  There is something you are not telling us in your question.

I have no problems with redemptions.  Others in the family have redeemed for several trips to places like LA and Niagara Falls, and rental cars, with no problem.
