  1. dnt no, but u get paid alot of money

  2. aviation training schools

    (guess)

  3. i go to vaughn college of aeronautics and technology in new york, presently,  a minimun of an associates degree is required, plus you must pass the respective tests given by the faa with flying colors, after that you are sent to Oklahoma for training, which can last for months.

i'll tell you right now, this is a very strict program, in terms of age, health and some of the tests themselves, there a certain tests out there that if you fail, you might as well forget about it. Also your background must be squeaky clean.

    Good Luck

  4. Twenty five years ago, I was hired "off the street" and attended the FAA academy at OKC.  Then it was OJT at my duty station, and I've been there ever since.  Although a lot of things have changed, there is still some off the street hiring done, so before shelling out the big bucks for a CTI course, you might investigate the possibilities in that regard.  If you can pass AT-SAT with a high score, your odds of being offered a job are good.

  5. You attend an FAA approved training program that qualifies you to apply for the job.  If approved, you attend an FAA training course and then go to on-the-job training in which you work your way up from talker to ground controller to flight controller.  There are supervisory and management positions available after you've been there a while.
