Air Traffic Conrol?

I am joing the Air Force and will be doing five years. I will be an air traffic controller. I was wondering what level of job should expect in the civilian world. What kind of pay. What other credentials will I need?

If you plan to enter ATC, and you are hired at a large facility, you should expect approx 90 - 100k as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC) (current dollar values).  Your pay will be less during the transition/training period.  The major problem I see, is that five years from now, I expect controller hiring to slow drastically, since all of us old timers will have been replaced by then which may limit your odds of obtaining employment in the first place.
