Question:

Air Traffic Controller application question?

I applied for an air traffic controller position in february and ended up taking the at-sat on march 18. I scored a 96.5. However, I haven't heard anything back from them, so should I apply again or is that redundant? Also, I haven't gone to school or anything for this--if I got hired I'd be hired straight off the street. Is this a major disadvantage? Thanks and sorry for all the questions.

  1. One of my good friends just went through the process.

After the test he waited almost 2 months to hear anything back from them.  Like you, he was off the street and got his first pick of facilities.

So, I would not worry yet... they are a little slow getting back to you but that should not be an indication of your chances.

    Best of luck!
