tell me what are the possible thinks that would happen if air was a conductor.

  2. No, it is an insulator under normal circumstances (such is th case with the electricity cables you see overhead, as they use the air to insulate themselves).

    However, under certain conditions, like when there is a spark from cables or lightning, as the voltage is extremely high and the air around it becomes charged.

  3. well air isnt a good conductor of heat or electrcity.

    if it was a good conductor of electricity then imagine what would have happened when lightening occured every body would be electrocuted (ouch)

    to be a good conductor of heat well molecules need to be closer together this would cause problems in the formation of convection currents. there would less of pressure differences and no breezes.

    if the molecules are closer together then the pressure also increases. Right now we have pressure of aprox. 7lbs/cm cube on our bodies. this would increase and we would also weigh more.
