Air con freezzing up in when it gets cold?

my window rattler keeps frezzing up at nite when its on hot or warm the unit is 1.5 years old and the coils are brand new aswell as the filters so there is lots of air movement thur the coils i have it on an angle to try to get rid of the water but still does it what else can i do it sounds like it overloads when it cut out (still runs but cold air) then once you turn it off for a while its ok for the next half an hour

Pull out the filter and clean it.  It's in the front of the unit.  When they get clogged they freeze up.  Clean it at least weekly.
