  1. A couple questions come to mind:

    1-We as in 2 people?

2-How long will you be gone?

Those very minor issues aside, this is very doable.  Regarding train transportation to Cork, it may be more economically feasible for you to perhaps rent a car in Dublin.  Also you get to see more things that way as well.

Kindly call, email me at: indysteve1563@yahoo.com or reach me through Yahoo Messenger with your itinerary you have planned and I will ensure that you enjoy your stay on the Emerald Isle.  Besides I have some excellent news for you.

  2. www.aerlingus.com

they will often have specials for travel to Ireland and they also have direct flights to Dublin and Shannon (west coast). However, you can still find cheaper deals by flying through London with other airlines.

Travel to Cork from Dublin is best done by train. There are trains every hour from Dublin (Heuston Station) to Cork and they take less than 3  hours depending on whether they are non-stop or not. You can check out details at www.irishrail.ie.

    Good luck!

  3. September is good time for lowest price on air tickets, check this site to see if have what you need.
