  1. Air Force: note that to fly in the AF, you must be an officer.

    Officer:

You must go to an accredited college and get a 4-year degree. You can go to the Air Force Academy, do ROTC at a civilian college, or go to OCS after you graduate. There are 35 colleges in Florida that have ROTC (http://afrotc.com/colleges/detLocator.ph...

    Enlisted:

Air Force technical training comes after Basic Military Training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX (6.5 weeks until November, then 8.5 weeks).

Contact a recruiter to start. You'll have to take a test called the ASVAB (math, English, mechanical/electrical) and pass a medical physical, among other things. Then you'll enter the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) and sooner or later be sent to basic training.

Chat Online with a Recruiter: http://airforce.com/chat/?or=nav.001

    Locate a Recruiting Office: http://www.airforce.com/recruiterlocator...

After Basic, you'll go to technical school. The location of your technical training depends on what your AFSC (job) will be. Schools in Florida include:

    Jacksonville NAS: Pararescue

    Eglin AFB: Explosive Ordnance Disposal

Hurlburt Field: Tactical Air Control Party

    Key West NAS: Pararescue

Pensacola NAS: Aerial Gunner, Aircraft Structural Maintenance, Non-Destructive Inspection, In-Flight Refueling, Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape, Airborne Mission Systems

  2. If you mean flight training - there are many flight schools in florida.  Pick one.

Air Force training starts when you join the Air Force - at Lackland AFB in San Antonio.
