  1. Aircraft dont have there own Freq's They talk to airports on VHF whatever that port operates on You can buy a manual called "The UK Scanning Directory" which covers all civil & military Freq,s If you e mail me at abruce25@aol.com & tell me what airports you wish Freq,s for I will mail them to you

  2. I suggest a book called airwaves 200* , published by photavia press. Iy will cover civil and military, and give most if not all airfields in the uk, and also will list a good few company frequencies. Good luck.

  3. Don't you have a destination in mind?

OK, it's not much, but here's a document:

    http://www.eurocontrol.int/eatm/gallery/...

There seem to be a few 2002 stats but if you are doing serious research I'd use the email address in the document to enquire about access to further stats.

  4. Depends where you live. For area control covering overflights as well as inbounds to EGCC and EGNM try 118.775 (Sector 29). EGCC approach try 118.575 or 135.000. Depending how far you are from Manchester Airport the two approach frequencies may be out of range, but the area one should have some interesting stuff on it.

  5. Well this is the best i can do.

    try

    www.liveatc.net

    www.atcmonitor.com
