Air intake problems?

i have a 2008 scion tc. i took the stock air intake off and put my ram air intake on it. but when i started it all it did was start and then die. y would it do this. the intake worked with my other car. i really need some help.

There's probably an unhooked sensor somewhere.

make sure you didn't miss or left out any hoses that needed to be connnected. If it is a universal intake it may not work for your particular car. Make sure it was made specifically for your year and model.
