  1. the throat

  2. The official term for what all these folks are trying to describe is the "nasopharynx." It's that spot where the back of the nasal cavity and the back of the throat communicate: you know, that spot that gets irritated if you cough or some such while drinking, and the drink goes up into your nose?!

  3. The auditory (eustachian tube) opens into the part of the pharynx right behind the oral cavity.

So it's the part of your throat just below where you can see if you open your mouth wide in front of a mirror.

  4. the Eustachian tube runs from the middle ear to the pharanx

  5. Auditory tube or Eustachian tube extends from anterior portion of middle ear (Tympanic cavity) to the nasopharynx (uppermost part of pharynx, behind the nose), about 1.25 cm behind & slightly below the posterior end of inferior turbinate.

Normal eustachian tube at rest is collapsed witch opens frequently to maintain middle ear pressure, by swallowing or yawning or chewing.
