Should I worry about riding my bike around a town that has numerous trails of chemicals coming from planes? I'm guessing that the remnants from the planes have to fall to the ground at some point right?

  1. If you are speaking 'remnants' as in the planes dump wastes while in flight, yes, so do, over large water areas. Other wise, like RV campers, and large buses that have bathrooms, are dumped at the next lay over or airport.

As for chemicals being dumped, how often do you see things falling from planes? If you took the number of flights per day, with in the US, and compared it to being struck by lightening, you are more likely to be struck by the lightening, than something falling from a plane.

  2. well if u are talking abt the chemtrails i think u are talking abt then u cant protect urself so well anyway because its coming to come into the ground and tapwater and into u anyway but yeah u will get little less in a car of course.

  3. Yes, be afraid, be very afraid. Airliners burn carbon tetrachloride and it is heavier than air, and falls quickly to earth. Dont ride your bike, don't walk outside, dont go out at all. Stay inside and read books by Al Gore and make yourself feel better.

  4. What you are talking about are contrails. They are made of ice, nothing more. Eventually, they evaporate, they do not reach the ground.

  5. You probably should be more concerned about the exhaust fumes from the cars you encounter along your ride, or the second hand cigarette smoke you breathe, or the lawn mower exhaust when workers mow the grass at the park. I guess I haven't made it past all the things I can smell on a daily basis to even begin to worry about contrails 35000 feet above me.
