Air traffic control apptitude test

Question

I took the atc apptitude test in april of 08 I scored 91.7 on it. Then in june of 08 I made the referral list. But since then nothing. I called the recruit office they said if I wasnt called by now then I wont be for that vacancy. So I have been applying for all the announcments. My question is if they need atc so bad why am I not getting called? Im ready to work what is the hold up???

Don't give up,these things are not easy to get started.Keep learning and be aggressive ,show up in person,let them all know you are the one. You will be great at your job when you get it.GOOD LUCK !!

I applied in February.  Took the AT-SAT in April.  I got a 88.3. They sent me an email in June asking rather I wanted to do Enroute or Arrivals/Departures.  I got another email in July stating I had been selected for an interview.  My PEPC (Pre Employment Processing Center) is next Thursday in Chicago.  I will have my interview, drug test, background check, pyschological exam and and medical exam all in one day.  I may even get an offer.  I would say maybe the city you applied for isn't hiring.
