Airco problems?????????????

Question

i dont know whats wrong with my airco in my room, sometimes it works and soemtimes not, i clean it, still it doesn't work, sometimes it gives cold air and sometimes it is just wind... what is the problem?

Sounds like the stat is opening on it or a pressure switch or the compressor overload or the coil is icing up.

SOUNDS LIKE A THERMOSTAT,

THE THERMOSTAT SIGNALS THE COMPRESSOR TO START,

WHEN THE COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING IT COMPRESS THE FREON GAS TO COOL,WHEN IT REACHES THE TEMP YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE COMPRESSOR CUTS OUT UNTIL THE TEMP GOES A COUPLE OF DEGREES ABOVE THE TEMPATURE AND THE COMPRESSOR STARTS UP AND THE COOLING PROCESS STARTS OVER.SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY NEED A SERVICE CALL TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT. ITS GOOD THAT YOU KEEP THE FILTER CLEAN IT WILL HELP ON THE ELECTRIC BILL
