Airconditioner Issue; Inside works but fan outside is not working?

Question

The inside You can flip the switch and the unit will attempt to come on but the outside fan will not engage. It is just humming like it is attempting to come on but it is not. any suggestions???

start capacitor or motor open up cover see if starting cap is puffed up otherwize call a tech gl

there are several reasons why this could be happening. The guy above is right, but it could also be the low pressure cut off switch, which means the switch is bad or you are low on the coolant.

Kepp doing that and you could blow the copressor. Call someone.
