  1. If you want to be in an aircraft carrier for sure, join the Navy. You can't "request" anything in the Marines, you go where you're needed.

  2. yes. transfer to what we called the FLEET MARINES.

  3. Yes, you not only need to specificy Fleet marine on the MOS, but the location and name (if you know it)...Otherwise, they will decide whether Fleet station you will be assigned, too.

  4. I just happen to be in the Marines and Navy ships have Marines stationed on them for security duty.  To be stationed on a ship is called “Sea Duty” in the Marines.  If you are considering Sea Duty you should contact your local Marine recruiter and discuss Sea Duty with them.  Or you might sign a  contract when you  join the Marines you can request Sea Duty.

I was selected for embassy duty and served in Africa and Japan.  Embassy and Sea Duty are prime assignments in the Marines.  Keep in mind you may be assigned to a different type of ship (boat) other than a aircraft carrier.  Again discuss this with the Marine recruiter.

  5. Yes you can.

  6. i am not sure whether the marines have their own carriers, since they most likely operate the Tarawa class ships. however if you are the fa18 pilot, then you should be issued to the larger craft hten tarawa

  7. Aircraft carriers contain Navy and Marine billets. Depending on yours, you may be able to "request" Fleet Marine and you "may" get on board an aircraft carrier. But as someone said above, as a Marine, you go where you are needed most.

  8. You can depending on your MOS

but there are tons of them that you can get request in for being on a Aircraft carrier
