  1. Let's see

    Boening

    Aorbus

    Censa

    Embrear

    BAE

    Souki

    Mcdonald Douglas

  2. Aerospace. As in Gulfstream Aerospace.

  3. Aerospace manufacturer or aircraft manufacturer.

Airframer is one other term I have heard.

  4. Boeing is an aircraft mfg company.  Many parts are made by other companies like General Electric which makes engines.  And  Rolls Royce makes engines for jets too.  Johnson Controls makes parts for airplanes.  Look up the companies by going to Yahoo.com and putting the name of the company where it says search ticker.

  5. I normally hear it referred to as aircraft manufacture.

  6. wel...the main two are Boeing and Airbus, Rolls royce make jet engines too

  7. How about-----------air frame manufacturer! That is what that are usually called.

  8. yes

one of them are MacDonell Douglas

  9. Most aircraft manufacturing companies have called themselves "XXXX Aircraft" over the years, and still do today.

As in Boeing Aircraft or McDonnell-Dounglas Aircraft.

"Aerospace" is a neat new word, but it does not necessarily mean an aircraft manufacturing company.  It can be anybody that makes anything related to aircraft or space exploration, from bolts or brake pads right on up.

  10. MacDonell Douglas does not exist any more as it was taken over by Boeing. If the company only makes aircraft, then it is an aircraft company or aircraft manufacturer. If it makes aircraft and satellites and/or spacecraft then it is an aerospace company.

  11. Boeing or Airbus.
