Keep an eye on Air New Zealand's "grabaseat" site on the net. Some time really (and I mean Really) cheap fares are on offered.

For instance, over the last couple of days there have been fares as low as $2.00 for inter island flights

Look at grabaseat.co.nz - they have new fares each day that are very cheap. But it  is the luck of the draw.

This is good for checking the cheapest fares for different airlines - Looks like there is a one way $55 to Wellington at the moment.

please vote me best answer!! children are ages 2-11.

a return flight from auck to wellington direct is $135 for an adult, flying pacific blue. the same thing with qantas is $136, so prettty much same. for children its $116 for pacific blue, and 126 for qantas.

a one-way flight from auck to wellington is $96 for air new zealand, 45 for pacific blue, and 71 for qantas. this is for an adult. child is $45 for pacific blue, 63 for qantas, and 72 for air new zealand.

these prices include all extra costs. infants dont cost anything. please vote me best answer!!

can be as little as $30 or $40 on sale or over $150 if you book at the last minute.  book early and you'll get a better price
