Airforce Mayhem, main contender for West Kent Housing Social Committee Stakes at Crayford
Airforce Mayhem seems to be the strongest contender for the West Kent Housing Social Committee Stakes, set to take place at Crayford on Friday, April 20, 2012.
The black dog is in fine form these days. He recently completed his hat-trick, beating Move Over Kaka by one and a quarter lengths in a 380 metres heat.
The trainee of J. Luckhurst picked up the winning momentum after a couple of pathetic performances in early March. At the end of last month, he returned to Crayford with a huge bang.
He outsmarted Jake Dark to ensure the top place by five and a half lengths. With three consecutive victories under his belt, the hound is all set to knock down his rivals.
Let’s see how he outplays his opponents in today’s 380 metres flat heat, which is due to start at 20:33 GMT. A cash prize of £153 is reserved for the ultimate champion.
Airforce Mayhem will show his class against four fasts and furious hounds including Wall Saw, Ballyhoe Fifty, Crossfield Jack and Zenas Jack.
Airforce Mayhem is most likely to earn the highest starting price. Among his opposition, Wall Saw seems to be the strongest competitor.
The white and black dog is not one of the consistent hounds in the town, but the bookmakers are showing faith in his abilities.
After sealing a convincing win over Crossfield Jack at the start of last month, S. Gammon’s trainee lost his direction and as a result, completed the order of finish in his previous race.
Zenas Jack cannot be recommended for the top spot, but he would surely inflict some pressure on his rivals. In his recent outing at Hove, the black dog finished fifth in the list.
Crossfield Jack is not in our shortlist. On the other hand, Ballyhoe Fifty is expected to trouble the judge. The white and black dog is a recent gold medallist. Out of last five races, he seized the top place thrice.
The stats show that Airforce Mayhem has the highest of bagging the winning cheque. However, Wall Saw and Ballyhoe Fifty would make things difficult for him. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
