Airforce Newyork to bounce back into form for the Bettor For Betting On The Dogs Stayers at Peterborough
The Bettor For Betting On The Dogs Stayers will get held at Peterborough over 605 metres flat on Wednesday, 25th April. The six hounds ready for the race are Turibius, Skywalker Louie, Third Intention, Airforce Newyork, Jurisdiction and Clerihan
Gold. The prize money set for the race is £500.
Leading the line-up with the most appropriate credentials is Airforce Newyork, Westmead Hawk’s three-year-old black son out of b***h, Wee Amy. He has already achieved hat trick after getting drilled on 13th March over 380 metres at Crayford. He
raced through the distance in 23.54 seconds and then lined up three victories.
On 17th March, Airforce Newyork won a 380 metres race at Crayford by timing the track distance in 23.32 seconds and led the runner up, Castle Comet, by a staggering ten and a half lengths.
Second success after the training was at Romford over 400 metres on 20th March which the three-year-old clocked in 24.38 seconds. Finishing the closest to the winner was Hoof It.
On 29th March, in the Coral.Co.UK Maiden at Hove over 515 metres, Airforce Newyork dominated the race by racing through the wire in 29.55 seconds and struck a hat trick.
Parking right behind the winner was Cals Goinghome who took 30.03 seconds and he was soon followed by Brinkleys Ace.
His string of the winning streak broke on 2nd April by ending third in the Coral On TV Maiden Stayers Trophy – Heat 3 at Romford over 575 metres. The winner, Ding Hero, took 34.98 seconds to settle the race.
Airforce Newyork swung back into routine on 6th April in the Good Friday Maiden Stayers at Romford over 575 metres by reaching the other end of the wire in 35.09 seconds.
Envy Apple King followed right behind the 1/3 favourite winner of the race.
His last victory of the season till yet was on 11th April at Wimbledon over 480 metres when he yanked off the title in 29.13 seconds and had the runner up closing in at two and a half lengths’ gap.
However this time, the three-year-old could not stretch the victories till three as he scored second in the 480 metres race at Wimbledon on 18th April.
A shock from the failure in the most recent start will prompt him to bag the race tonight.
