Airforce Spirit likely to dominate in March 545 Maiden
Airforce Spirit will be chasing a hat-trick of victories in the March 545 Maiden at Mildenhall in England on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The winning greyhound will be awarded with a cash prize of £100.
The Grade OR event, scheduled to start at 20:00 GMT, has attracted six quality runners and their names are: Airforce Spirit, Pauls Intentions, Crossleigh Tinko, Parkers Nemesis, Scala Vixen and Seathwaite Clip.
R. Holloway’s trainee, Airforce Spirit, has been in spectacular form over the past few months and will be looking to carry on with the winning momentum. The bookmakers have firm belief in his abilities, thus have awarded him with the best odds for victory
today. The punters will also be looking forward to place maximum number of bets in favour of the favourite hound.
Out of his last three appearances, Airforce Spirit has managed to win a couple of races. He is in very good rhythm at the moment and it will be difficult for the rest of the pack to match his speed and skill.
In his most recent appearance, the white and black dog ended up on top of the table, despite not being the favourite to win. He got off to a decent start and kept on increasing his pace as the race progressed. He managed to win it by just a neck distance
in the end.
The favourite hound is the son of Tyrur Lee out of Loyal Irish and was born in June 2009.
On the other hand, Pauls Intentions is also likely to make an impression in the race. He has the ability to challenge the best in the business, but does not seem to be in good form at the moment. He has been doing some decent trial runs recently, but his
most recent race in a grade OR event did not prove to be a good one, as he finished fifth in it.
C. Finch’s trainee lacks momentum, but will still be a threat for the rest of the runners. He is the son of Mineola Farloe out of Mineola Plan and was born in September 2009.
Crossleigh Tinko and Parkers Nemesis might not be in good form at the moment, but they have very good chances of doing well at Mildenhall today. However, the rest of the participants do not stand a chance at all.
