Airforce Spirit likely to win Club Trophy
Airforce Spirit is likely to make a big impact in the Crawley Post Office Sports @ Social Club Trophy which will be held at Hove racecourse on Thursday night, April 4.
The high-voltage Open Race over 515m distance is scheduled to start at 20:34 (GMT). For the prize money of £150, the R. Holloway-trained white and black dog is all set to show his guts against Taylors Trophy, Whiterock Champ, Blackhall Prince, Royal Premium
and Razldazl Zamba.
Since the dawn of 2012, Airforce Spirit has been performing marvellously. During the first month of the year, he earned a runner-up rank along with an excellent triumph.
March proved to be the luckiest month for him as the three-year-old young sprinter accomplished a fabulous hat-trick. His last victory came by a big margin of 6 ¼ lengths.
This success streak has perked up the dashing dog’s momentum to a great extent along with establishing him as a hot favourite contender for the Trophy title.
If the son of Tyrur Lee out of Loyal Irish manages to capitalise well on his capabilities, his chances to finish first in the race can be as high as 90 percent.
However, some of the talented dog’s competitors like Taylors Trophy and Whiterock Champ can give him rather tough time on the track.
Taylors Trophy is on a hat-trick. The T. Taylor-trained brindle dog won two races in a row during the last month. Prior to this, the veteran hound had clinched a mega victory by 4 ¼-lengths in the month of February. Overall, he owns a splendid track record.
On the other hand, Whiterock Champ won two races during March 2012. Before this, the trainee of J. Foster achieved two runner-up positions in February. He is the most experienced of all the hounds who are going to run tonight.
In this situation, it is anticipated that there will be a rip-roaring competition among the above three hounds for the top spot. Airforce Spirit is required to demonstrate an extra-ordinary performance in order to thrive. Good luck to all the contestants.
