Airless bike tubes?

I was wondering about the airless tubes like the ones they sell at wallmart becouse I get to many flats and I am sick of it, so I was wondering about there performance, weight, all pros and cons, only from people who are actualy using them, please

  1. I would first try somethings before.  Like making sure there is enough pressure.  Mountain bikes with tubes fill at least 40psi, using less is risking more punctures.

    You can also use slime that is also sold at walmart, or liners, or extra tick tubes.

    Those aireless tubes are heavy and will be noticeable in your performance even if is just leisure riding.


  2. too heavy, too much rolling resistance.  learn to keep your tires aired up and to avoid things that will cause flats.  i got a lot of flats when i first started riding, but i was riding on the shoulder where all kinds of nasties were hanging out.  i began riding by the white line and many of my flats stopped, pluse i learned to watch the road to avoid things that could cause problems.  i also learned to avoid the cheap tires and spend a little money.

  4. I don't have the "airless tubes", I have a friend that does. I had to borrow his bike to get tubes for my bike, it was a comfortable ride. I usually get the tubes that have the green "stuff" inside the tubes.
