Airlie Impact all set for the Coral Sussex – Heat 3
The two-year-old Airlie Impact, backed by 10 to 11 shots for the Coral Sussex – Heat 3, has been performing quite very consistently since a while and thus has earned being the favourite for the 515 metres flat race. It will be hosted by Hove on Thursday,
19th July and will reward the winner of the race with the £175 prize money.
Taking up the challenge tonight are Brinkleys Flyer, Loughteen Blanco, Waste House Al, Risky Storm and Boxie.
Royal Impact’s two-year-old black son won the first race of the season on 2nd February, 2012 at the Shelbourne Park in the Grade A1 The Dobbins At The Park A1 525. He reached the other end of the wire in 28.46 seconds and defeated the runner-up,
Laser Transfer, by seven lengths.
Airlie Impact’s second success in line was in the 1890 269 969 Open 525 on 11th February at the Shelbourne Park over 525 yards. The two-year-old took a slow start from the fifth gate, was challenged when racing in the third position and then claimed
the race near the line by timing the track distance in 28.82 seconds while leading by just a length.
From 17th June, 2012, began the series of three victories that got the three-year-old son out of b***h, Forest Swallow, the seasonal hat-trick.
He took 29.72 seconds to settle the 515 metres track distance of the Coral Hove Maiden – Dup at Hove. He made a quick escape after leashing from the sixth gate and led to run in for the wire while leading by just half a length.
Finishing the closest to the winner was, Loughteen Blanco.
On 21st June, 2012, Airlie Impact won the Coral.Co.UK Standard – Dup at Hove over 515 metres. Setting into an early pace and then leading the race for half the distance got him concluding the affair in 29.98 seconds with 4 ¼ lengths under his
belt.
Finally, on 5th July, 2012, the Paul Young trained won the Princess Hannah’s 21st Birthday Trophy at Hove over 515 metres. Racing away quickly after leaving the sixth gate got Airlie Impact the race in 29.39 seconds.
