Airline pilots?

how do u become an airline pilot... for like midwest or airtran, stuff thike that. Like school, how long. thanks for your help.

There are thousands of options in becoming an Airline pilot. The route Im taking, Im 16, is: Finish high school, taking as many math, science classes as possible. After high school Im going to get my ratings (FULL time student) Once Im done with my ratings I am going to go to collage (getting any degree, probably the highest paying one I can get) While I attend to collage I am going to work Part time as a CFI flight instructor. That way I can earn more money that If i were to work at Mckyd's. Once Im done with collage I will most likeyly have enough hours to apply to any major airline.

To work at the major airlines you need hours+ a Bachelors degree.
