i'm flying to minnesota in 2 days

i know the rule for liquids is under 3 oz and everything you bring has to fit in a one quart sealable ziploc bag

but does that rule apply to your carry ons only or is it for checked baggage too?

because i want to bring my moisturizers and sun screens but i don't know if i can put them in my checked bag.

and your only allowed one ziploc bag per person

  1. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's also for checked baggage.

Maybe I'm dumb, but I've been using the 3 oz. rule even for my checked things.  :)  haha!

Better safe than sorry, I guess?

  2. Yes, it's carry-on only where the rules apply.

You can put as much as you like in the checked bag.

I was looking this up recently, because I'll be travelling in a few days. I found all the info at the TSA website.

  3. Combustible liquids are totally restricted in airlines.

  4. If you have it in a purse,

    they won't let you,

my naive mother thought a snack would be allowed going into the terminal,

but they had to take it away,

along with our creams and lotions we had in our purses,

you can put it in your luggage, your suitcases.

Some how they managed to let us bring goldfish crackers?!

    XD

    I don't know.

    Just do their rules,

    because you will stall others,

and it will not be a happy scene.

    Have fun there!
