Airline ticket question???

is it true that some airlines dont ask for your e-ticket??? they just ask for your passport and/or ID??? some airlines do this because they already have your info in their database.?

  1. No airlineswill ask for your e-ticket, as an e-ticket is electronic. Thats the whole point of them, so passengers no longer need actualy paper tickets to present at the airport.

    Its always advised to bring a copy of your itinerary to the airport, as a back-up. But they would only ask to see it if there some kind of a problem with your reservation. All you need to retrieve your e-ticket is an ID, or in some cases even just a credit card.
