how much usually are tickets to LA from toronto? and any airline suggestions? =) thanks =D

I'm not sure of the cost since I haven't travelled that route for a few years.  However you *will* save a lot of money by flying out of Buffalo instead of Toronto.  I'm not sure which airlines presently fly out of Buffalo to LA, so I suggest you see a travel agent and ask them to check for you.  Remember that you don't pay for the services of travel agents ... the hotels and airlines do.  You can also check online for Buffalo/LA flights.  I really mean it, it's much cheaper.  Bon voyage!!
