Airlines Baggage policies; hello, I am taking a flight with two luggages and one backpack and i just?

realized there is costly fees for this

is the backpack you take with yourself insode the airplane counts as a baggage or that is free of charge ?

if so should i just ignore my backpack and only take those 2 luggages ?

and one more thing: when it says First bag $15* and 2nd bag $ 25 , if you have only two bags does it total in $ 40 or $ 25

this is redicoulous man ! i already paid so much money for ticket and now they want to charge me even more

please help

  1. the backpack is a baggage, but its a carry it on to the plane baggage (so its free)

    its 40 bucks for 2 luggages. ($15+25)


  2. I agree--it's getting so ridiculous!  Airlines from the US are always finding new ways to charge you more.  Now they even charge you for your meal!  Ugh.

    The backpack you take with you on the plane is your carry-on and there's no fee for that.

    And yes, since you have two bags that you are checking in, it will total $40 (15+25)
