  1. Almost all airlines will allow Unaccompanied Minors (that is the airline term) as long as their parent or guardian is present to send them off, and they have some one to meet at the other end.

I know I traveled that way when I was that age.

  2. American is the only one I know that cuts off at 15. Most other airlines like united, southwest and other let ones that are 13 and older to fly alone

  3. Most airlines allow it. However, you need parental permission and there may be additional charges. There may also be restrictions on which flights you can take. For example, most airlines will not accept unaccompanied minors on the last connection of the day because they can't be responsible for you overnight if your connection gets canceled.

Each airline posts their policies and fees on their website. Just check the websites for the airlines that you are considering.

  4. All commercial airlines allow this.

If your 13 +, i think they allow you to travel without paying extra for the unaccompanied minor 'feature'.

  5. almost all airlines let kids travel alone
