I am goin to Mexico soon. I just bought this new cleanser and toner that i spent a good amoint of money on and i don't want to lose them. I wanted to pack them (not on my carry on) but i'm afraid they might get confiscated. On is 7 fl. ounces, the other 6. Do you think there is a chance they could get taken away. How much is that chance?

  1. if your checking them it doesn't matter their size, you'll be fine. and by fine I mean a 100% chance they WON'T be taken from you!!!  Just don't try and put them in your carry-on (which I see you already know).

And for checked luggage a ziplock bag is NOT needed.  but I recommend it anyways jsut inc ase something burts, it will be contained in the bag and not all over your clothes and everything.  But it is definately not required.  Unless they see something that looks bomb-like in your bag they don't open it up.

Good luck and have fun in Mexico.

  2. I think if they're in your checked luggage, you're okay. Just pack them in a big ziploc bag so they can look at them.

www.tsa.gov   <--- Transportation and Safety Administration - they set the guidelines for what can and can't go, and when in doubt, call your airline and ask them.
