Airplane identification. What kind of airplane is represented in my lapel pin:?

layman's description: a single wing, appears to have a jet type engine on either side of the cockpit, which are connected by a horizontal cross bar tail wing, the cockpit is small, it does not connect to the tail, there is no vertical tail. Thank You!

  1. There must be a lot of aviophag groupies that give her thumbs up all the time.

    I have many USAF "lapel pins" that depict specific aircraft models.

    Without a picture or better description, I couldn't begin to tell what yours is.


  2. This is really hard to answer without seeing it.  I'm not sure if you're referring to the cabin when you say cockpit.  Can you post a link to a picture of it?

  3. Possibly a DeHavilland Vampire in planform.  Could be a Scimitar too.

    If you can post a photo, that would help a lot.

    Does it really have just a single wing?

    Are the jet engines really on either side of the cockpit?
