Airplane model making...?

I want to make a model of an airplane with propellers. I have heard somewhere that if put use a rubber band with the propeller in a way and twist it. Then, when you let go it spins the opposite direction the way you twisted it and makes it fly. I want to do this on my model plane but I don't know how. Do you guys have ideas or websites explainning on how to do this?

stick a rod all the way down the airplane, then on the end sticking out in the ftront, attactch a propeller, and then tie a rubber band to the end and tie the other end of the rubber band to the plane, then twist the poelle and watch it lfy
