Flying in an airplane??

I am flying in a few weeks, and I am flying on the Embraer 175. My seats on the way there are ok, but on the way back it says 19D, 19F. I looked at the seating charts, there isn't a seat 19F. Anyone have any ideas??

I saw a different seat chart. Are their not seats B and E?

  1. Yes, I would suppose that 19D and 19F are next to each other on the right side of the plane.

Seats B and E are probably omitted since it's a 4-across seating arrangement instead of the normal 6-across arrangement.

If you tell us what airline you are flying, perhaps you'll get a more definative answer.

  2. The USAir Express Embraer ERJ-175 has 22 rows of four across seating.  Airlines omit the B and E seats so that when a passenger requests a window or an aisle seat the letters will correspond whether it's 4 or 6 across.
