  1. I am 13 too. On Southwest you can book your ticket online as an "Adult" and then when you go to the airport and you check in at the counter your parent/guardian will identify you as an unaccompanied minor and they will ask for a whole bunch of information about your parent like ID and stuff and then you parent will need to give the same info like ID about the person picking you up to the desk and then your parent will get a pass allowing them to go through security with you and they can wait at the gate till you board. Then the person picking you up on the other end will have to give all their information to the desk and the desk will compare the info. your parents gave them to the info. the person who is picking you up is giving. Then the person who is picking you up will get a pass to go and pick you up right at the gate. I hope this makes sense.
