Airplane ticking prices and companies...HELP?!?!?

I'm driving down to south carolina from michigan with my sister who lives down there. I was planning on comming back either very very late the 26th of this month or sometime in the morning on the 27th.

This is my first time on a plane, and i kind of have a tight budget.

So, on to my question...

I need to know which airline sells the most inexpensive tickets and how much they are.

or, i need to know where else i can find this information.

any help is appreciated =)

Try orbitz.com..........hotwire.com............ cheap tickets anymore..........take what your comfortable with......Try to depart from Flint........may be less expensive.....you need to let us know where you plan to depart from????????????

I have tried orbitz and cheaptickets.com but the best prices I usually get are at the airlines specific site.  I use airtran  the most.  Check them all and compare.  The fact that you are flexible with the date will definitely help you get a cheaper ticket!

Fares are very expensive out of Greenville.

You will get much much lower fares out of Charlotte.

Check Orbitz.com find airline with best price, but book the flight on that particular airline's website (ex: Northwest) because you will save on Orbitz's booking fee.
