Airport ID help!?

so i'm traveling in literally 4 days..

and i realized my passport expired!!!!

im traveling within the state, but i dont have a drivers license.. what else can i bring instead or am i in trouble.

  1. You can bring one of the following to pass through security and to board the plane.

    Children are not required to carry id. However, if you have a school id , it would be a good idea to bring it with you. Children must go through additional screening.

    No, you are not in trouble. You don't need a driver's license to fly on an airplane, even if you are at the age in which you can have a driver's license.

    You should definitely contact the airlines that you are flying on and consult with them. They will definitely be glad and willing to help.

    *You can still get your Photo Identification License, so check with your local DMV. Also, I think that you can bring another form of government-issued ID, work ID, or a school ID. However, CHECK with the airlines!! My friend's fiancee was sent back to France right now due to issues with her passport.

  3. See if your state has a state ID card for people who don't have a driver's license - If they do, that would probably be the quickest solution to avoid any problems.
