Airport Time Suggestions?

What time would it be good to arrive at the airport (for me, its ATL) if the plane leaves at 7:30 am? About how long should security take and all that stuff? Thanks!

idk know if this is relevant, but traveling from ATL to LAX on Delta

The first answer is correct, and you need to get to ATL 2 hours before your flight is schedueld to depart (even though 5:30am IS quite early).

Generally be there at the airport 2 hours before for a domestic flight, and 3 hrs for an international flight.

Security can take any amount of time depending on the number of passangers, frequency of flights and time of day etc..

So you should be there at 5:30 am :)

If you go well in time you might finish everything faster because of less rush and may be even able to catch an hour of sleep at the gate :D
