Airport crowded around 3am?

i would like to know how many people are in JFK or any other airport at 3am.And also are the lines shorter

Lets put it this way if your a JFK at 3 am your about one of 12 there is usually no one at JFK after 12 because there is almost no flights that  leave at 12.

i wouldnt say shorter, but many people come to the airport at 3am, mostly cause they were flying about 5-10 hours

There are no lines at 3am because nothing is open. The airline counters are empty - no airline staff. The security checkpoints are also empty - the machines and conveyor belts turned off, and the whole area closed. There are only security guards on duty but they are not TSA and will not open anything for you. The only people are the ones mopping the floor.

this question is too general, what time of the year are you talking about?? There are not many flights leaving at 5am so there shuld be less staff on duty which does not always mean less lines.  You can always heck on line and see if there have been delays or whatever, this is a very busy airport but they are usually quite good at getting you through quite quickly with as little hassle as posible..............if you where asking about Miami that would be a different answer!!!!!!!!
